Oxford Mixed vs Spikos vs Newbury - January 2008

The Oxford mixed team lost in three sets to Spikeopath 1 today. The second set ended something like 26-24 and third 13-15. Newbury was beaten 25-19 and 15-4 in the second and third set. We would prefer if you don’t ask us about the first sets and have the courtesy not to check the Berkshire league’s website. I think we can conclude that the following players are very slow starters on a Sunday morning: Maite, Sam, Cornelius, Matt, Rune, Jason and myself.
Maite was voted ‘Player of the match’ in the last one, well deserved!
Unfortunately Spikeopath 1 is still at the top of the league but we beat Newbury so we are ok with being second.
